Fashion Week Looks We Love – Part 2

In continuation to our Fashion Week roundup here’s our take on the designers we loved. Their exquisite cuts, gorgeous colour palettes, and versatile silhouettes left us all wanting more.

Nikhil Thampi

Staying true to his design ethic Nikhil gave us a collection inspired from Kathakali dancers. In stark hues of beaten gold, black and gunmetal silver, the collection gave us a selection of embellished jackets, crop tops, cutout gowns and beautifully draped half saris.

On the Stylista wishlist: Gold printed full sleeved  jacket.

Nupur Kanoi

Androgyny juxtaposed with ethereal drapes lead to a strong and elegant collection from Nupur Kanoi. The silhouettes were flattering with free flowing fabric embossed with detailed embroidery. We loved the jewel colour palette of vivid scarlet, warm brown and deep aubergine.

On the Stylista wishlist: Scarlet palazzo with horizontally striped crop top.

Amit Aggarwal

Amit Aggarwal took our breath away with his impeccable technique in his strong structured silhouettes and stunning drapes. His futuristic collection showcased modern saris and lehengas as well as evening gowns. This collection was a flight of fancy with full foil skirts, intricately embroidered bodices with feather details and his signature overlap pleats. His much anticipated collection left everyone raving.

On the Stylista wishlist: Grey structured foil dress with feather embroidery.

We are really excited and cannot wait to see what the coming Fashion Weeks have to offer!
