The Editors Making Street Style History

Anna

Inspiration strikes like lightening, often from the unlikeliest of sources. And while we’ve indulged in our fair share of celebrity muses and glossy editorials with pen and paper in hand, we can’t help but come around to the fact that city streets are the new runways.

Street style blogs have opened up a whole new window to a world where a Stylista can draw inspiration from the personal style chronicles of the very women that were instrumental in putting her favourite magazine spreads together – the editors. Now a worldwide phenomena, we regularly log on to our favourite blogs to see inspiring, real-world women strutting their stuff in what can only be described as a seamless blend of high street and avant-garde designer pieces, often FedExed to them straight from the atelier itself.

Here, Stylista lists the wonder women who brought about the Street Style revolution and simultaneously gave us a major case of wardrobe envy, steering the future of fashion in a direction that is personal again.
