Amazing music, a gorgeous landscape and loads of fine wine – Nashik is definitely the place to be this weekend. Sula Fest, everybody’s favourite wine and music festival, is back with its 7th edition on February 1st and 2nd at Sula Vineyards, and we couldn’t be more excited! The annual festival is a melting pot of all things awesome. Imagine grape stomping, foot massages, wine tours, tarot card readings, a funky flea market and, of course, a whole lot of really great music! It’s the perfect way to end a long week at work, and we can’t wait to pack our bags for a well-deserved weekend away from the city. As always, Stylista Insider has put together some fun looks that will have you looking super fine in wine country!
The Maxi Dress
Super chic and comfortable, a maxi dress is a festival girl’s best friend. Strut your sartorial stuff by experimenting with different fabrics and prints. If you’re clumsy (like me!), choose a dress in a dark colour or graphic print. It will hide lumpy curves and almost all stains, both wine and grass alike!
Shorts & Tee
Show off those long tanned legs in a cute pair of shorts. With so many prints (floral, cosmic, stripes) to choose from, we guarantee you’ll find a look to love. Team your shorts with a muscle tee or a chic crop top. You could also borrow from the boys by wearing one of your boyfriend’s oversized tees or carry his plaid shirt to wear as a jacket!
While the weather will be all gorgeous and sunny during the day, we strongly recommend you carry a jacket to throw over your shoulders when it gets chilly at night. A lightweight denim or leather jacket in tan or black will work perfectly!
Perfect for storing everything from make-up, souvenirs and breath mints, your sling bag is the perfect accessory for your weekend away. Choose a roomy bag that’s big enough to stow away your jacket or shawl, and has a sturdy strap to keep it secure while you’re dancing about!
There’s a lot to see and do at Sula Fest, so be sure to keep your feet stay happy and cool in a comfy pair of sandals. Make sure you carry ones that have an easy strap, just in case you go grape stomping or want to brush your toes against the grass.
