Day 4 saw a mix of designers, both young and established. Here’s a roundup of the shows we loved:

Gaga by Tanya Sharma

Tanya Sharma’s label Gaga is an extension of the designer’s personality, effortless, relaxed, and plain cool! Her latest collection was sporty, summery and ever so chic. Organza sweatshirts were teamed with printed shorts, breezy tunics were layered over crisp pants. The colour palette was a change from her usual brights, and veered towards light sorbet tones. The easy separates were accented with delicate chain embroideries in pale lemon, rose, mint and sky.

Ken Ferns

Ken Ferns took inspiration from portugese tile art for his latest collection. Light cotton satin and chiffon made for pretty, feminine pieces. The Fleur De Lis motif in native blue, pink and fresh green was seen through this resort collection.

Anushka Khanna

Anushka Khanna’s show was inspired by New York in the 70′s. Anushka’s muse is the well traveled, global girl. The fringe detail and geometric beading was reminiscent of studio 54. Luxe yet wearable, the collection saw jewel toned slip dresses, maxis and kaftan dresses were minimal and glamorous.

Shantanu and Nikhil

Inspired by the architecture of the pre-independence era, designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil created drapes and silhouettes with an old world charm. This collection saw deep reds, plush pinks, ivory and metallic greys with heavy embroidery.

Farah Sanjana

Young designer Farah Sanjana’s show was inspired by the vivid flamboyance of the flamingo. Beautiful azure blues and deep tangerine progressed into monochrome and vivid pinks. She used printed satin, watercolour organza and lycra. Her gowns used embellished panelling and sleek tailoring. We especially loved the palazzo pants and organza straight maxi.

The Jabong show

Young talented stylists walked the ramp for a change with their muse and favorite stylista. This show was fun, energetic and ever so chic!

We loved the Stylista Lace Inset dress styled with an anti fit sweatshirt and a sporty cap, and the Stylista Dreamcatcher top layered to perfection!
