That we look up to fashion bloggers for style inspiration is not new, because their versatility and penchant to break fashion rules has always been a point of conversation. It is for this very reason that Stylista has collaborated with some of the top bloggers in the country in the recent past, for various collections ranging from Shivan & Narresh’s graphic swimwear to Monica Dogra’s bohemian threads. Each blogger has contributed her own aesthetic to the ensemble, and while some have lent the clothes a glam twist others have given them serious street cred by brilliantly conceptualising the shoot. Here are some looks from our favourite bloggers wearing Stylista, and we also show you how to cop their look right away!
1. Rhea Gupte of FUSS
Goa-based blogger Rhea Gupte of FUSS expertly styled the sexy Shore Thing Swimsuit by Shivan & Narresh for Stylista with a Perspex cuff and statement lips. The swimsuit – flaunting a mish mash of monochrome stripes along the front and a solid black back – was kept the centre of attention and was well complimented by the small doses of colour.
2. Shereen of Love & Other Bugs
Shereen made a quite a statement in our Mando’s B-Girl Crop Top paired with Alina’s Woodstock Skirt by Monica Dogra for Stylista. Channeling the quintessential boho girl, she accessorised the outfit with a quirky backpack and stacked bracelets, completing the look with statement sunnies against the buzzing backdrop of Mumbai.
3. Kayaan of Love & Other Bugs
Kayaan – the other love bug – also took to the bustling streets of Mumbai dressed in Amber’s Grunge Dress by Monica Dogra for Stylista for our collaboration. She lent the outfit a dose of badass-ness by pairing it with a leather backpack, classic aviators and letting those ombre locks loose!
4. Anushka Hajela of Bombay Bubble
Known for mixing things up, Anushka wore the Garden State Dress by Stylista Original paired with an oversized cardigan and accessorised the look with statement baubles. A gold cuff, strappy heels and a neutral handbag completed her look.
5. Mitali Sagar of House of Misu
Mitali made an elegant impression dressed in the Green Apple Crop Top by Masaba Gupta for Stylista paired with a pleated midi skirt. The neutral skirt allowed the Masaba piece to be the star of the ensemble, and was well complimented with a bold choice of footwear and a pop of pink via the bag.
6. Summaiya Patni of House of Misu
Playing with Masaba’s quirky prints, Summaiya rocked The Final Cut Palazzos by Masaba Gupta for Stylista by pairing it with an electric blue tee and a black waistcoat. She edged the ensemble up with strappy heels and a statement necklace to go.
7. Aanam C of What When Wear
Aanam remained in neutral territory dressed in the Dulce De Leche Dress by Stylista Original. She kept the look simple and understated by going easy on the accessories. With just a hint of bling via statement earrings and gold sandals, the look epitomises the ‘less is more’ adage.
